NYFW, mis preferidos. My Fav's on NYFW

A lo que va de la semana de la moda en New York, hemos podido ver en determinadas marcas como se generan combinaciones particulares entre telas delicadas, como gasas, sedas y telas más casuales. Por lo que he visto hasta ahora, hubo 2 marcas que pudieron crear esa perfecta fusión: Una fué Rag&Bone y la otra fué Prabal Gurung. La primera mostró colores contraste y básicos sin generar dolor a los ojos, la combinación de prendas casuales como las varsity jackets y las faldas mas femeninas en terciopelo con textura matelassé fueron un hit. En cuanto al calzado propuesto por la marca (R&B) primó el comfort ante lo vertiginoso de tantas otras jugando también con las texturas y colores, llevando el zapato a otro nivel, fuera del clásico negro, marrón y gris del invierno. Con Prabal Gurung se vió una mezcla perfecta de femineidad y sensualidad en su máxima expresión. El diseñador no dudo en jugar con una paleta cromática más apagada dando detalles en rojos y poniendo como premisa principal la mezcla de materiales y juegos de formas: drapeados, formas asimétricas, etc. Acá les adjunto también el link para que puedan ver todo.

Hi lovelies! On this post I wanted to express my opinion about how much I love when we find clothes with versatility that can be mix easily with many particular styles. Not staying only in the comfort zone of the daily clothes. We can mix it creating new looks without looking too over the top. To show you what I mean I thought it was cool to highlight the Rag&Bone and Prabal Gurung F/W 2013-14 collections. The first one played with the details in contrast colors and very powerful shades not only in clothes but shoes as well. The textures used were the matelassé effect in the velvet pieces and lots of knitted coats as well as jackets with the very popular nowadays varsity style. In Prabal Gurung's the focus was all over the asymetrical shapes, draping, etc. And the cromatic was red not only in many dresses but also in certain details of embroidery. Both labels shown how to be feminine without revealing too much. So far, which show were your favourites, let me know, I love to see different opinions in such a subjective area as fashion is.
